Terms of service
These terms cover your use of this Octopus service, run by the operator named above. Signing in means you accept them.
Beta service
The service is in beta. Features change or go away without notice, the service can be unavailable, and data can be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: your repositories stay at your Git host and Octopus works on clones of them. There is no uptime commitment during the beta.
Accounts and workspaces
You sign in through your identity provider (the provider shown on the sign-in page); Octopus stores no password. A workspace belongs to its owner, who decides who joins and with what role, can hand it to another member and can delete it. Members are responsible for what they, and the API keys they create, do in the workspace.
Your AI provider key
Agents run with the AI provider key you add to your workspace. Your use of that provider falls under your own agreement with it, and its charges go to your account there. The operator stores the key encrypted and uses it only for your workspace's agent runs.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to break the law or anyone's rights.
- Do not try to reach other workspaces' data, get around limits or credentials, or attack the service or the servers it runs on.
- Do not point agents at repositories or systems you have no right to change.
The operator may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules and will tell its owner why.
Your content
Code, tasks, comments and files you put into the service stay yours. The operator processes them only to run the service for you, as the privacy page describes.
Ending your use
You can delete a workspace you own, or your whole account, at any time from Settings, Account; the privacy page lists what that erases. The operator may end the beta, telling workspace owners by email first where possible.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The operator is not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits arising from the beta.
Changes
These terms can change while the service is in beta. The date at the top names the current version; using the service after a change means you accept it.
